Join us for 3rd Fridays at Centro Latino to enjoy dinner, meet & community members, discuss an human-environmental health issue, learn a health promotion practice for your life.
Every month you can count on a delicious dinner, cooked by our volunteers under the direction of Gina of Gina’s Vegan A Go Go, for a $15 minimum donation to Centro Latino.
Try our famous plant-based tamales with rice, beans and pico de gallo!

Leave a donation & take home a baby Airplane Plant/Spider Plants (Chlorophytum comosum) from our big momma plant at Centro. Bring your own planter. Potting soil, spade, gloves available for use.
*Ready to Volunteer?*
Volunteers are welcome to drop-in when their schedule allows.
General schedules of volunteer shifts for dinner events at Centro:
12-5pm – Kitchen Crew: We’ll need 3-4 volunteers to make tamales and prep food for the meal. (Learn the tamal-making process with Gina!)
5-6pm – Set Up: 2-3 volunteers to set up all rooms for service and clean/tidy the dining room before dinner
6-8pm – Dinner is Served: 3-5 volunteers to serve the food, bus tables, take orders/collect payments at register & participate in conversation with community members.
8-9pm – After Dinner: 1-2 volunteers to do dishes and clean up after the event.
Volunteers are encouraged to try the food and are welcome to enjoy a dinner plate!
